A little web application that has profound implications for education,
publishing and even for defining the truth. Yes that is a big statement however all the of best elements of Web 2.0 are integral to wikis.
Of course the wiki most people have heard of is wikipedia the online encylopedia that is a multilingual, web-based, free content encyclopedia project written collaboratively by volunteers. Wikis as we use them in education share many of those characteristics.
A wiki is basically a easy to create website where all can contribute, edit, debate and share knowledge.
